I went to a friends wedding. Without the kids. I spent two nights away from them. It's the first time I've ever spent a night away from them. The wedding was in Wanaka, so we flew over amazing southern scenery, drove over the crown range, found our apartments, got ready for the wedding, joined the rest of the guests to watch the ceremony and watched the helicopter fly off to epic photography locations. I drunk lots of beer and had an awesome time. I took my camera because I couldn't not bring it. It's really really rare that I get to visit places like this. So here are a lot of scenery photos and photos of my friends AND some photos of the most amazing bride and groom. Thank you to Simon Darby for letting me pop out for a few minutes to get a few shots of Owen and Amanda (and letting me use his lens). And then some next day hangover photos and skating and climbing and more scenery and then it snowed on our way back to Queenstown! I probably wasn't dressed for snow.
Seriously the most perfect clear crisp Auckland autumn morning. Plus a perfect little family. And the cheekiest little guy. And a visit to their little home. With the feline family member. She wouldn't do a photo with baby Connor but I got one of her by herself. Super pretty. Thanks for having me!
I still can't believe I managed to convince these guys to come for a sunrise photo shoot on (what felt like) one of the coldest mornings of the year! Beach, beautiful light, lovely family... what more could you ask for? Here's just a few to feast your eyes on.
Maddox is one of my favourite little men! And his beautiful mum is super cool too. We had sun, rain, sunshowers AND rainbows which made for a whole lot of really amazing photos in the ever changing light! What a perfect session for these two awesome people (oh, and Charlie the dog too!).
Lots of kisses for me and his mum!
I have been meaning to post some photos of Alia since she hit the one and a half mark, but the month has come and gone, and she runs so fast it's hard to even get a shot of her in the first place!
So instead I thought I'd do a summary of the last month in photos - including our beautiful (cold) winter beach holiday.
