Shannon braved the cold wintery afternoon for some beach photos in her flowing white goddess gown she made. Thunderstorms threatened, but held off just for us. She sure makes pregnancy look majestic.
This session was my most serene I've ever had. Just us and the beach. A quiet stroll and a grey sky. A perfect time to stop and appreciate the tiny baby about to enter the outside world.
It was a windy day at the beach when I met up with the Joy family who were soon to become five. But all the long hair blowing in the wind was a pleasure to capture especially knowing that only a few weeks after these photos, mum shaved all her hair off to fundraise for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand. What a beautiful family!
